Fit for Future

In 2022, the University Executive Board has launched a program for the development of the University of Bern entitled ‘Fit for Future’. This program addresses the changing basic conditions and the question of what the university needs to do today to remain attractive and competitive in 10-20 years' time.

After two years, the program has been consolidated in autumn 2024. Action areas that have either completed their projects or made significant progress, will be handed over to the line organization.

F4F is essentially focussing on the areas of strategy, culture and structure. The aim is to strengthen teaching and research at the university.
