UniBE Life
The University of Bern aims to develop and embody a common organizational identity. The goal is for employees and students to identify with the University of Bern as a whole. To achieve this, the University promotes exchange and a sense of belonging, strengthens internal communication, and enhances employee satisfaction.
Our goals:
- Strategy 2030 and the range of activities and opinions, etc., the values and the identity of UniBE are to be made known and visible.
- Employees will be made aware of the importance of the reputation of the University as a whole and their shared responsibility for it.
- The values and identity are to be widely accepted and flow into the everyday life of the employees.
- An internal communication structure is to be established with clear responsibilities and opportunities for feedback, especially at the level of the central administration.
- We determine what subject areas have great potential to strengthen people’s identification with the University and plan targeted measures to execute this.
- We optimize and promote exchange with the public, the neighborhood, and within the University between and within the OE and across OE boundaries.
- We create ambassadors for the University, taking into particular consideration the importance of UniBE alumni.
